Developed and managed by RSM, Mercedes-Benz Retail Group’s London launch of the Citan provided a strong platform ahead of the new Light Commercial Vehicles' (LCV) arrival at dealerships. RSM’s account, event and creative teams were involved in the multi-faceted project, held at various Mercedes-Benz sites across London and aimed at driving quality footfall, generating test-drive bookings and building prospect databases. An Electronic Direct Mail targeting new and existing customers exceeded industry benchmarks for open and click-through rates, and by creating an informative and engaging event with high-quality attendees, the launch resulted in the sale of 78 Mercedes-Benz vans. “The new Citan is a major part of Mercedes-Benz’s LCV offering, so a successful launch to our London audience was vital. Yet again, RSM delivered in every aspect,” said Group LCV Director, MBRG.
