RSM has developed a new social media initiative to ensure teams and drivers contesting in the SEAT Leon Eurocup race series are not only competing on track but that they continue to do so away from the circuit. The new-for-2014 PR & Social Media League encourages teams to be proactive in terms of PR and social media with points allocated for generating media coverage and engagement. Points are awarded each month with the highest scoring teams receiving prize money at the end of the season. “Motorsport is highly competitive,” said SEAT’s Director of Communications. “By utilising this competitiveness in PR and social media activities we are all gaining more visibility in a fun and engaging manner. It’s great to see the commitment of the teams and drivers to this new initiative. I’d like to thank RSM for developing the programme.”
